How domestic violence affects children
The National Child Traumatic Stress Network, established by Congress, publishes guidance on how intimate partner violence affects children.
What the source says
- The National Child Traumatic Stress Network publishes a fact sheet on intimate partner violence and child trauma for parents and professionals.
Our view
Mothers and fathers both report abuse. Whichever parent you are, reporting abuse should never be turned against you, and no parent should be labeled “alienating” for trying to protect a child.
